I am a freelance marketing consultant working for a training provider. I have extensive networks in Cheshire West and further afield. I have lived experience of disability since childhood and I use a power wheelchair for mobility. I am also an advocate for people with and without disabilities. As a volunteer I have over 36 years of experience in third sector, voluntary, and grass root charitable organisations. I have also had employment in Disabled Peoples Organisations DPO. I was presented with The Order of the British Empire Medal in 2016 for my work with Chester Adult Phab Club - a social club for people with and without disabilities. I am a volunteer and founder member of Chester Adult Phab Social Club since its formation in the late 1980s. I have been an active committee member since the Club was formed.
