Conventional recruitment processes have significant limitations and may mean businesses are not able to recruit the best people for the jobs required. Outdated recruitment processes can also inadvertently exclude candidates who may be perfect for your organisation but who – for any number of reasons – cannot even get past the initial stages of a traditional recruitment pathway.
Reimagining hiring processes to be more inclusive and diverse - placing the emphasis on skills rather than credentials - makes recruitment more efficient and better aligned with modern business needs.
As part of our ‘Meet the Experts’ series of events, and in recognition of World Mental Health Day, hear insights into the work being done to promote inclusive workplaces, break down barriers to recruitment, and demonstrations of the value of diverse minds in the workplace.
Speakers at the session will include:
- Alan Triggs and Lynne Furlong (Strawberry Field)
- Andrew Ashford (The Bren Project)
- Karen Cregan (University of Chester)
The event is funded by the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.
