An outdoor adventure park is the visitor attraction of the year – and it’s just a short drive from Chester.

BeWILDerwood Cheshire, which is on the A49 near Whitchurch, took top spot in Marketing Cheshire’s recent awards beating off tough competition from Chester Zoo, Jodrell Bank and Cheshire Ice Cream Farm.

The outdoor adventure park, which opened in 2021, is based on the magical and enchanting books by author and creator Tom Blofeld and a day spent at BeWILDerwood promises to inspire imaginations.
