Big things are happening at college's Winsford campus

Warrington & Vale Royal College will see its campus become part of a national network delivering top technical education and training.

The town centre campus will be revived as a partner Institute of Technology (IoT) under the government’s new plan to build a national network of IoTs delivering high quality, higher level technical education and training.

Backed by £290 million government investment, each IoT focuses on one or more specialisms including healthcare, medical engineering, high-value manufacturing and cloud networking.

With employers as core partners and members of their governing bodies, IoTs are committed to identifying future skills needs and supporting technological innovation to drive economic growth, both locally and nationally.
