Cheshire West Crowd Update

Community projects across west Cheshire are calling on your support through the Cheshire West Crowd, a crowdfunding initiative being run by Cheshire West and Chester Council in partnership with Spacehive.

The Cheshire West Crowd provides the opportunity for everyone to put forward community-led projects and attract funding so the borough can become more vibrant, resilient and connected.

The initiative has been a huge success since it first launched, with more than £1.2 million raised for local projects from over 4,400 backers.
The autumn 2022 funding round has been the biggest yet with 44 projects now running crowdfunding campaigns.

While the Council has pledged approximately £425,000 in this round – more than it has ever done before – some projects are still looking for donations to help them reach their crowdfunding targets.

The key to the Cheshire West Crowd’s success is that everyone can play their part and any donation, no matter how big or small, can make a huge difference to projects benefitting so many people in the community.

Whether you’re a business, donor, resident or anyone else, you can get involved with the Cheshire West Crowd and donate to local projects close to your heart.

All projects will need to reach their crowdfunding targets on the Cheshire West Crowd by Tuesday 28 February 2023.
