Chester Railway Station Refurbishment Update

Chester railway station is one of a number of Welsh and English border stations that have benefitted from more than £1 million of investment this year, according to Transport for Wales (TfW).

Work focused on signage, flooring and customer waiting facilities are part of the company's aim to ensure stations are clean, friendly and welcoming places.

Alongside Chester, TfW say significant improvements were also made at Neath, Carmarthen, Cardiff Central, Carmarthen, Shrewsbury and Tenby.
