Coffee#1 opens new Northwich store in former Edinburgh Woollen Mill

Northwich's newest coffee shop has welcomed its first customer through the door.

Coffee#1 has opened today, Wednesday, in the former Edinburgh Woollen Mill store in Witton Street, employing a team of eight to run the cafe.

The new Northwich store is the chain's second in Cheshire after it has spent the last 20 years establishing itself across south west Wales, south west England, the south coast and the Midlands.

Founded in 2001, Coffee#1 has become a popular name, serving coffee made by talented baristas in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere.

Beata Grabowska, Coffee#1's area manager, said: "It’s in a great location with a warm community feel and I am sure Coffee#1 will fit right in.

There's plenty of space to socialise with friends, family, or by yourself with a good book or your laptop. Local community groups are welcome to host regular coffee and catch-ups in the store, which is also dog-friendly.
