Plans to construct 13 commercial units for small businesses in Ellesmere Port are being reviewed by Cheshire West and Chester Council.
The development, proposed by Seddon, would see land at Lloyd Drive converted into a small business park with associated access, parking and landscaping.
The revised plans, submitted at the end of April, make use of the southern portion of the original site only.
The development would consist of two two-storey blocks, one with seven units and the another with six, and includes space for 27 parking bays, with a further two accessible bays and two Ev charging points.
Architects KPP say this would provide 24,700 sq. ft. of commercial space and will conform with BREEAM Very Good requirements to ensure that it is sustainable and energy efficient.
The developers say that the scheme will result in the creation of a ‘significant number’ of new jobs, and will increase spending on local goods and services, which will indirectly create further jobs.
