Headstart Nursery

Headstart Nursery has been awarded National Day Nurseries Association’s ‘Quality Counts’ award and gained the top award of Platinum.

Quality Counts is a national quality scheme designed to help a nursery explore all aspects of its care and education to ensure that it is delivering the best possible service for young children.

Nursery managers Cheryl Duxbury and Leanne Toohey from the Upton Nursery and Melissa Kennedy-Roberts and Jane Lewis from the city centre nursery all said: “We are absolutely thrilled to have been awarded Quality Counts at Platinum level.

"This is a special achievement and reaching this point is a culmination of much hard work from the nursery team. We would like to thank everyone who has supported us during our QC journey and we are all very much looking forward to celebrating our success in the near future.”
