New Chester Market Milestone

Chester Market has now welcomed over one million visitors in under six months.

The new market has proven to be a big hit since its launch in November 2022, with city residents as well as both UK and international visitors enjoying what the Northgate site has to offer.

Cheshire West and Chester Council, whose ambition was to deliver a ‘modern traditional market’, has paid tribute to the commitment of the market traders and staff for achieving such an "incredible" milestone. And the local authority has promised that there is even more to look forward to as we head into the summer months.
