New small business awards launched ahead of major event

A new small business awards has been launched ahead of a major event next month.

The scheme is being run by Aphra Brandreth, MP for Chester South and Eddisbury.

In the lead-up to Small Business Saturday, taking place on Saturday, December 7, the MP has announced the launch of her first Small Business Awards.

It is dedicated to recognising and celebrating the achievements of Cheshire’s thriving small business community.

From local cafés and independent boutiques to family-owned restaurants and artisan shops, constituents are encouraged to nominate their favourite local businesses that make a difference in the community and contribute to Cheshire’s vibrant economy.

Launching her Small Business Awards, Aphra Brandreth MP said: “Whether it’s the high street café that knows your order by heart, the family-owned store with a unique range, or the restaurant where you always receive a warm welcome and service with a smile, I want to hear about it.
