The outgoing owner of KingKabs says he is "incredibly enthusiastic" about what the future holds for the Chester-based taxi services after striking a deal with a national transport giant.

Last week we reported that Vedamain Ltd, which trades as KingKabs and Abbey Taxis, had been bought by CityFleet Networks Limited. A letter to drivers, which had been seen by Cheshire Live, confirmed that the sale had gone through on Friday (March 17).
